It's been a few months since I wrote. Lisa and I had a great 4th of July for the most part. Everything was good with the exception of the breakfast in Rockland. I mean come on breakfast burritos over the pancake breakfast that is ridiculous. Other than that spending time with her family in Idaho Falls was fun. Although the video below was not recorded by me It is a lot closer to the fireworks than I was, I have to admit I was kinda disappointed in the show just because of the distance we were away from it. I have been to Many fireworks shows pretty much right underneath them and It's just not the same if you can't feel the shock wave from the explosions. However we were unable to attain parking close to the show this year maybe next year.

Well in August Lisa and I got married in the Idaho Falls Temple. I'm just so grateful that she actually went through with it. I'm even shocked that she seems just as happy about it as me. We had a great time afterwards, and I appreciate everybody that came to it. So here are some photos that my cousin Carisa took. She did a great job! (Here is a link to some of her other photos. http://flydesignphotography.blogspot.com/)

We had special glasses and M&M's made for the wedding reception. This next set is from the Rockland reception

After the reception we went down to Park City and stayed at a time share that her dad let us use for our honeymoon. We left about 4 hours early and took the back roads and stuff for a nice scenic drive through the mountains instead of going down through Salt Lake. Spent a Nice week down there driving around and looking at stuff.

well now 2 months later we have settled back into our lives moved into a nice little apartment and we have just been living our lives. it was fun to write perhaps I will do it a little bit more from time to time.

It's been awhile since i have posted anything and a lot of things have happened since then. I have asked Lisa to marry me, I have taken her out to brand cows at my parents house, I have met her mom that was an interesting trip. I have also hung out with her sisters a few times and I like being around them witch is different. In the past I haven't really liked any of my girlfriends' families. Lets see what else have we done, I've gone to her nieces' piano recital. We have put a deposit down at a place called The Loft for our wedding reception in Idaho Falls. We have also been talking about where to go for our honeymoon. I don't really care where it's at, but from the sound of things we might be spending it down in Las Vegas which is pretty cool considering the fact that I haven't ever stayed in Vegas. Well I'm sure that I have left out a few things but that's what happens when you haven't written in over a month.

So yesterday night I met Lisa's dad and step mom, step brother, step sister, and grandpa. I also helped her collect manure for her garden. Then we went to the Idaho Falls Aquatic Center where her dad taught me a little bit about scuba diving which was really fun for me at least.

So a bit more about me now. I grew up in Rockland. We have our own high school there so I didn't have to go to American Falls for high school. My graduating class was 11 outa 12 people, I think I graduated in the top 10 of my class, but I could be wrong. ;) We worked for 6 years to save enough money to go to Florida for our Senior Sneek. I know that makes it sound like we were in high school for six years but our junior high and high school, along with our elementary and pre-school, are all in the same building.

Like most people in Rockland I did sports. For the boys in Rockland there is Football, Basketball, and Track. I did all three except for the last 2 years of high school i didn't play basketball. ( I had issues at the time)

I loved playing Defense in football, only because I didn't have to remember any plays. I received a second place defensive end of the year award from the conference that we played in my sophomore year. I believe that I earned it from one game in particular against Murtagh, I managed to almost every play that came to my side. The word from the crowd was that they were scared to attempt to go to my side because they couldn't shut me down. My senior year I also received a The Red Dog award. which is either a defensive line award or just a defensive award. I don't remember which.

Basketball was also fun to a certain point. I only played for 2 years. I had some personal issues that made me not want to play anymore though. I received a JV MVP my sophomore year.

Out of all the sports I did I enjoyed Track & Field the most. It's so basic and so easy, and for the most part if you don't do well it's your own fault there isn't anybody else to blame it on. I ran a lot if different events in 4 years but for the most part I was on Relay teams. I ran the 800m part of the medley for a few years. I ran the 800m individual race also. I've ran at least once in every Relay event, 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m. this photo is from the 4x400m my senior year and if you look closely i'm about to be the first person across the finish line, and way in the back there just coming around the corner is the next closest team to us. We killed at that race every time my senior year even at the state track meet, it ended basically the same as this picture shows. I also did the triple jump but wasn't very good at it. I have a lot of medals for track because you would basically get them at every meet.

Well that pretty much describes my high school life. Stay tuned for more later. ;)

So to those of you with an interest of what happens in my life. This is Lisa, she is by far one of the best women in my life. She is a very active person compared to me. Anyways we have been on a couple of dates, we both think that we are crazy, and we are both very much alike. So today we officially decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend. Which is pretty awesome for me, since she makes me extremely happy. She makes me want to be a better person, than I have been. With her by my side I believe that I can be.

We met at a ward activity about 10 days ago, this is how we know that we are crazy, and She and a couple of other friends invited me to go snowboarding with them afterwards. So I asked my cousin if I could borrow his snowboard so that I could go with them. We spent some time on the slope, and she attempted to show me the right way how to snowboard. Afterwards we came back to town and had pizza and went to Bengal Creek to sit in the hot tub which was luke warm instead of hot. It was really cold out that night though. Once I got out of the hot tub it only took the water about 30 seconds to a min. to freeze to the ground. :( Since then we have hung out a bunch. Shared some of our deep secrets, and found that we make each other really really happy.

I feel like the luckiest person in the world right now. I think how could somebody so perfect actually want to be with me. I thank god every day that she is in my life now. Since I know that she will read this I just want to let her know how special she is to me. I love you Lisa
